A set of two solid wood cutting and serving boards in black burned ash and classy oak. Designed as chic utensils for practical use, to quickly chop up vegetables, fruit, cured meats and cheese, or lay out as trays.

The black CUT board is burned and brushed following the Shou Sugi Ban technique of preserving wood. Both pieces are coated with the highest quality food safe oil. Subtle edge undercutting ensures they are easy to grab and handle. Finished lovingly by hand.

Please note that TU LAS works with natural wood only, so each of our pieces is unique and one of a kind. Lively, irregular wood grain with the occasional crack and playful knots is what we love and look for.

  • Circle: local ash in a deep black hue. Charred following Shou Sugi Ban (or yakisugi), a traditional Japanese technique used to preserve wood and bring out its unique structure. Oval: local oak. This classy wood is always a good choice. Fits all tastes, kitchens and tables, and its lighter shade perfectly complements the dark color of Shou Sugi Ban wood.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS

CUT boards are not suitable for the dishwasher, so we recommend careful hand washing only. Do not expose to long-term contact with water. Wipe and dry after each use.
